Salvation given at www.sportspubs.co.uk
www.sportspubs.co.uk details over 250 pubs in London that televise national and international football matches. Pubs are ranked based on atmosphere, price of beer, screen size etc. along with opening times, food and special features. You select the area and are given a range of pubs to visit. You can then get a map or email the directions to a friend. There is a regular email highlighting updates to the pub database, a section highlighting pubs that show international matches and an RIP page for pubs that have bitten the spit and sawdust.
More moreover, at the start of this season we introduced a WAP version to the site at www.sportspubs.co.uk/wap to give information and directions for those that are on the road.
We are constantly updating the site and are in the process of adding more detailed information on television schedules along with a focus on ITV-Digital pubs. With the introduction of pay-per-view on a more regular basis, we also see another avenue for the site. Finally there is expansion geographically.
With the football season in full swing and the Six nations around the corner, this is an excellent opportunity to do a press piece on the site.
